Smart contracts enforce guardrails while AI optimizes strategy. This convergence creates “machine-native economies” where agents transact without human micro-management. Risks include runaway automation, adversarial exploits, and unclear liability. However, with programmable constraints and verifiable execution logs, autonomous agents could transform treasury management, supply chain coordination, and algorithmic capital allocation.
